A-Team Performance Dipsticks & Tubes Editorial Review
The Transmission Dipstick and Tube is a plastic product that is not suitable for prolonged use. It may melt, as reported by one customer whose vehicle wouldn't move due to the dipstick melting while caught up in traffic. The user had to pay for towing and transmission repair, which caused further expenses. Due to the overheating, the stick melted and caused another issue, clogging the filter and restricting the transmission fluid flow. Furthermore, the product does not fit all models of transmissions, as reported by several customers. The dipstick tube and o-rings might be too large or small to fit into the transmission, causing a fluid leak. However, those who were able to use it with the correct fitment reported a satisfactory experience.
