It contains Pyrithione Zinc but does not include any Parabens. While it's not entirely clear whether the product is cruelty-free, it is effective in treating dandruff for many customers. The shampoo has a light blue color and leaves a chemical smell, but this washes out and gets covered up with conditioner.
