KRUPS Coffee Machines Editorial Review

The Krups Simply Brew Compact Coffee Maker is a cute and compact coffee maker that is easy to fill, easy to clean and makes great coffee. It has a #4 cone filter that is thin but manageable, the coffee brewed is bold, flavorful and hot when first brewed. It also has an automatic shut off after an hour, is of a small footprint on the counter and looks great. The only major downside of the Krups Simply Brew Compact Coffee Maker is the fact that it is made in China despite the advertisement suggesting it would be made in Germany.

  • Small footprint

Cons

  • Made in China despite advertised as being made in Germany
  • Rubber feet fall off after a few months of use
  • Carafe is hard to read and difficult to empty completely into the machine
  • Not as durable as previous models from Krups.
