TEKTON Socket & Socket Wrench Sets Editorial Review

The TEKTON 1/4 inch 6-Point Drive Socket Set is a compact and well-organized tool kit. The set includes both SAE and metric sockets, shallow and deep. The chrome vanadium steel Construction of the sockets makes them reliable for small repairs. The case is 12”x8”x2 3/4” and keeps everything in place. The ratchet is 6.6” long and has a good feel in the hand. The price increase is due to the good reputation of these tools in the USA. The manufacturer makes around 22% of their tool lineup in the USA, including their screwdrivers, angle wrenches, crowfoot wrenches, picks and hooks, pry bars, and some pliers. Some customers have had issues with the sockets moving out of place when the case is closed, but this is not standard.
