  • Question : Is the ice maker easy to control?

  • Question : Does this item come with a filter? Just curious why I see a filter listed for $19, is that an upgraded filter or an replacement filter?
    Answer : This unit does not come with a filter. The P4INKFLTR is an optional accessory you can choose to use but is not required.
  • Question : How long does the ice last in the bucket while not in use?
    Answer : The ice bin is not refrigerated and does not keep the ice frozen. As the ice melts, the melted water is cycled back through the Opal to make delicious, fresh ice as long as the unit is turned on.
