Why are these listed as petg and acrylic when those are two different materials? petg will be destroyed in the sun and acrylic will not.

Not sure what petg is but this is very flexible. I use it for laying over Wall Tapestry cut to size over shelves and display platform.

Can this be spray painted? I need white but can find only clear in this size and thickness.

I would not think you can, too flexible. You could put it over whatever color you want. I have cut Wall Tapestry to size and place the plastic over them. Works great and endless possibilities.
