- Question : The video I watched mentioned “freezing the filter & “adding ice cubes to the water.” Is this correct? The description says “plug in.” Correct? ThanksAnswer : You don't have to freeze the filter, you don’t have to add ice cubes, BUT YOU DO NEED WATER! Doing the other two helps the air get cooler, but you don't need to if you don't have those those things, you will just have a room temperature mist. If you want cooling mist then you will need ice.
- Question : Can't afford AC for my small 2x2x5ft indoor weed grow tent. I just need it to drop the temp about 10 degrees Fahrenheit if not this what? pleaseAnswer : A fan like this that uses water will make it way too humid and your plants will mold. I would get a regular AC unit or a strong regular fan.

Energy consumption is very little. You can feel the cool (actually a very little cooler) air only by directly in front of the cooler about a few feet, otherwise, you feel nothing different in temperature.
- Question : Will it work in a garage?Answer : I'm not kidding...this unit is too small to cool a garage unless it's 40 below zero outside. It does not live up to the advertising hype. It may work in a small dog kennel for chihuahuas or a broom closet but loses the majority of its cooling capability once the recommended ice cubes melt. It does have lights and settings to make them change colors automatically but that's the only thing 'cool' about it.

While it is not an air conditioner, it uses a cooling filter that can be wet and frozen prior to use. The unit is more of a fan than an air conditioner and is not powerful enough to cool an entire room, but it can drop the temperature a few degrees after being on for a while. The unit also has a humidifying quality and can be used as a night light, and its noise level is quiet. However, the unit has poor durability, tends to leak, has a poor capacity water tank, and requires ice or a frozen filter to provide a cooling mist. It also has a cheaper plastic feel to it and turns off unexpectedly.
