The Mongoose Plus is a versatile diagnostic tool that provides dealer-level programming and diagnostics when used with OEM software subscriptions. The GM version of Mongoose Plus is recommended for those working with 2019 and newer trucks, and it includes DoIP and FD CAN protocols. The device is easy to use and functions well with 4 scan and/or FDR S. Reviews indicate that it works well with FDRS and Forscan on Ford vehicles and can update and reprogram modules on various vehicles. However, one customer reported that the device only programmed their car computer and corrupted the ABS module. Another customer reported that the device did not come with sufficient padding and the box was taped up. The Mongoose Plus is a reliable device that provides an extensive range of diagnostics and programming capabilities that can increase customer trust and confidence in their vehicle diagnosis and repair.
