Are the bottles made of glass or plastic? Or a glass option?

Our cleaning spray bottles are made of Tritan. We chose this material because it’s durable and designed for re-use. It will retain its color and clarity over time. It’s also shatter-resistant, and lightweight compared to glass. It has undergone US FDA testing and has low leachability (per US FDA Regulation 21). It is BPA-free, contains no VOCs or phthalates. At this time, we do not have a cleaning spray bottle in glass.

Can this be used on Marble?

The Blueland Bathroom Cleaner can be used on marble as long as it's sealed.

What are the active ingredients for this bathroom cleaner, and is it anti-bacterial?

Our cleaner products are not disinfecting. We do not formulate with the biocides that are often included in antibacterial products because biocides do not meet our standards for health and safety. Our Bathroom cleaner does help remove stains from mold and inanimate scum such as soap scum. Ingredients for the Blueland Bathroom Cleaner are Citric Acid, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Gluconolacctone, Potassium Sorbate, Monosodium Citrate, Hydrated Dextrates, Fragrance, Hydrated Silica, Sorbitan Caprylate, Pink Colorant.

Can this be used on stainless steel?

We recommend using our Multi-Surface cleaner rather than our Bathroom cleaner on stainless steel. However, as there are several types of stainless steel, we recommend first spraying the cleaner on an inconspicuous spot, and immediately wiping it off after.

Where are the tablets made?

Our tablets are developed and manufactured in the United States. Our Forever Bottles are designed in the United States and responsibly manufactured in China.

What are the refillable bottles made of?

Our Cleaning Spray Bottles are made of Tritan. Tritan is a durable plastic meant to be re-used over and over again. It’s often used in reusable water bottles and in baby bottles. It’s lighter weight than glass and won’t shatter when dropped. It’s stiff and durable, so it won’t dent or ding, and won’t get hazy or cloudy after washing. While Tritan technically is a plastic we have gone above and beyond to test and certify that Tritan is BPA free, antimony-free, and contains no VOCs or phthalates. It has undergone US FDA testing and has low leachability (per US FDA Regulation 21) and received the Platinum Material Health Certificate from Cradle to Cradle (the highest rating).

Can this be used as a daily shower cleaner? (Like a spray and walk away)

Our Bathroom cleaner was not formulated as a daily shower cleaner. Our Bathroom Cleaner was designed for use on tubs, sealed tile, sealed stone & shower surfaces, simply spray, and wipe.
