The packet film is not recyclable, but contains less plastic waste by weight than bulk plastic canisters. The homebrew recipe can also be an option.

The product technically contains carbohydrates but does not act like a carbohydrate in the sense of something like dextrose or sucrose. Using the Raw Unflavored version is recommended for those who want to avoid all calories during a fast.

What kind of salt do you use? Sea salt or Himalayan or something else?

The salt used in LMNT Recharge is evaporated from domestic salt springs from a traditional non-blast salt mining operation which we believe is the cleanest source. The goal of LMNT is to draw from the cleanest sources available.
