I need help its very hard to drink from my straw. How can I improve my straw?

1. Run the straw brush through the mouthpiece to break the seal before initial use. 2. Try positioning the straw further into the connector or trim the bottom of the straw at a 45-degree angle if it is too close to the bottom of the bottle.

I bought the cheetah reflex version, but even in direct sunlight it is quite dull and lifeless. Suggestions?
