However, it is not a router itself and does not support bridged mode or IPv6. The MAX Adapter 5G can work with Peplink devices and some third-party routers, but compatibility cannot be guaranteed for all routers. It is not compatible with macOS laptops, only Windows and Linux devices. The MAX Adapter does not come with a 5G SIM plan, but a SIM from AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or Verizon can be used. Subscription to Peplink's SpeedFusion Connect 5G/LTE enables the use of eSIM feature, which is an on-demand data plan Consisting of multiple US carriers like T-Mobile and Verizon.
