- Question : Have the latest versions of this mouse addressed the right click issues found in previous versions?Answer : I have several G502s and NONE of them have ever had a right click problem and I literally do nothing but just use my mice. Never taken any apart. I use one for work and one at home, both have no problems. The scroll wheels don't free spin for as long due to something breaking down in the mechanism, they spin for awhile but not as long as when new. Otherwise, no idea what right click issue you're talking about.
- Question : What's the difference between g502 spectruct and g502 hero?Answer : I believe the only real difference between the two is the sensor. Functionally they operate the same, but the HERO16K sensor requires about 10x less power. In a wired mouse, this won't make any difference whatsoever. But in a wireless mouse, it will make a huge difference in battery life. Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, the only wireless mouse with the HERO16K is the Logitech Pro Wireless. The G603 has the HERO12K sensor.
- Question : Will the light remain on after shutdown if my USB ports are powered when the PC is off?Answer : You can set a sleep timer so the lights go out after a certain number of minutes. You can do this through the Logitech program.
- Question : Is the mouse wireless?Answer : No, it is not wireless. But it is perfect! If you don't really need the wireless version, it's not worth spending more. Both are perfect but this one is more affordable and comes with a very comfortable and long cable.
- Question : Can this mouse be used on a laptop?Answer : As long as the laptop has a USB port, yes.
- Question : How can I use this mouse without G Hub?Answer : You can use it like any other mouse. There is a button on top to change the mouse sensitivity (dpi settings) and you can add weights to make the mouse the desired weight. You just can't personalize the lights or the button settings.
- Question : Is this mouse better than the G502 Proteus?Answer : The mouse utilizes the new HERO sensor. Honestly, if you aren't having an issue with your Proteus, you should be just fine. The new sensor allows for multi-surface usage without having to calibrate. Other than that, it's the same great Logitech quality as the Proteus.
- Question : Can you change the color of the mouse?Answer : Yes, you can. You can do that using the Logitech software.
- Question : Is this the best gaming mouse for huge hands?Answer : It's a decently big mouse. I have bigger hands myself and it's almost too big for me.
- Question : Does it work with Xbox?Answer : It does with XIM on all. Without it, only a select amount of titles. Please note it's not the item's fault. Xbox only allows some games to be played with mouse and keyboard unless you have the XIM Apex adapter.
