- Question : What are the inside measurements of the box?Answer : 13 1/2 wide by 9 1/4 deep by 9 1/2 high. The width includes the rails to hold a letter size hanging files.
- Question : What sort of lock is able to be used on these?Answer : It just has a latch.
- Question : Can the toolbox tray be removed so that the files can be seen through the lid when it's closed?Answer : NO the tool tray cannot be removed it is part of the lid that opens.
- Question : Does it lock? What are the dimensions?Answer : It closes with a latch but does not lock. It is approx.11in high 15in wide 101/2 in front to back.
- Question : Do these have a spot where you can add a padlock to lock them up?Answer : Padlock? How big as there is a place for a lock but not sure if a lock that is used for a locker would fit. You could use a smaller master lock just fine. This is plastic though so a strong twist of the lock could break it open.
- Question : Is the titanium latch actually titanium?Answer : No the Latch and Handle is Plastic. There Silver in color and that’s the reason I think their referring to it as titanium. The containers are nice but Plastic.

- Question : Can this hold a binder or textbook?Answer : These file boxes can hold a binder or textbook. They have worked very well for me. I have over a dozen of them. I do not transport them a lot. The latch is very secure, but I don't think that the hinges would hold up to a great deal of weight and transportation.

While it does not come with hanging file folders or file folders inside, it has rails to hold letter size hanging files. The box closes with a latch but does not lock. The toolbox tray cannot be removed. The dimensions are approximately 11in high, 15in wide, and 10.5in front to back. The latch and handle are made of plastic and have a silver color that resembles titanium. The lid closes well even with plastic file tabs on the top of hanging files. The file box can hold binders or textbooks, but it may not be suitable for heavy weight and transportation.
