    Answer : Mine did too. I cleaned the roller but it never worked again. It was too late to return it so I tried taking it apart to see if there was something choking the roller but couldn’t find anything. I ended up buying a different product for a lot more money but in this case I think it’s a “get what you pay for” thing. Sorry

    Answer : I think that you mean that you have a hard time getting the bottom piece off to use as hand-held. I just step on the head while it is on the floor. Then just pull up straight (vertically) on the handle. You get much better leverage that way.
  • Question : What is the diameter of the shaft that is just below the handle?
    Answer : It is NOT round, it is a rounded triangular shaft, the flattest side facing forward, about 7/8 of an inch on the forward side.
