    Answer : It is recommended to give at least one chew daily for best results.
  • Question : Can I give these chews to my dog even on days when I cannot brush their teeth?
    Answer : Yes, these chews help keep teeth clean and freshen breath, even on days when brushing isn't possible.
  • Question : What should I do if my dog swallows a whole chew?
    Answer : Swallowing whole chews can be harmful to your dog and reduce the efficacy of the product. Please only use under supervision and contact your veterinarian if your dog swallows a whole chew.
  • Question : Is this digestable rawhide?
    Answer : No, my dog could not digest it and it gave him a bad case of gastroenteritis, resulting in a very expensive vet bill. I have sword off rawhide after this scary incident. Greenie are much better.
  • Question : I cannot physically (bad oe) cut, break apart or use garden shears for the large so is there a way to soften them first?
    Answer : I think that any way you may try to soften them (wth water) will wash away the beneficial enzymes that are on/in these. These are like rawhide pieces. Maybe if you just give the dog 1 large piece for 5 to 10 minutes every day until it is gone?
  • Question : How do we get a refund or replacement? The last bag I got had barely 15 chews in them. Half the normal qty.
    Answer : I had the same problem on this last bag!
  • Question : Do any sizes have thinner chews? the xl contains mixture of thick & thin chews. my heavy chewer dog won’t chew the thick ones
    Answer : The smaller sizes are shorter, but I don’t recall them being thinner, overall. We’ve used shorter ones before, but she ate them very rapidly. This size has been better for her. She’s a shepard mix, about 75 lb. The first time she had one, it took her about 20 minutes. Thereafter, about 10.
  • Question : What’s the difference between this and the c.e.t hxtra chews
    Answer : I think the hxtra chews contain chlorhexadine in addition to the enzymatic ingredients.
  • Question : Small is too small. Large is too thick. 26 lb dog loves the long thin ones. Is there a way to soften them to break apart?
    Answer : I order the small size for my 11 lb. dog and cut them in half with scissors.
  • Question : I just purchased the extra large. will the “new large” be the one i receive? or am i just going to get old stock?
    Answer : I have no idea. Whatever they’ve done in making changes is very confusing. I suggest trying them and if you’re not satisfied, return them. Just make sure that you get the ones that look like rawhide and not the extruded ones!
  • Question : If pieces are swallowed, do chews dissolve in stomach?
    Answer : This product made my dog very sick. It gave him a bad case of gastroenteritis which resulted in a very expensive vet visit. It was very scary. I do not recommend this product!
  • Question : Has anyone figured out a holder so they can’t swallow that last bit?
    Answer : I throw the last half inch away
  • Question : What happened to extra large? is “new large” the same as xl? xl had a bernese on the bag, and new large shows a golden retriever so i’d guess not.
    Answer : From what I can gather , they are just changing their bags. The weight say 50+. This is the first I’m seeing it.

C.E.T Enzymatic Rawhide Dog Chews are designed to clean every tooth and provide a tasty treat for dogs. It's essential to buy the ones that look like rawhide instead of the uniform sized strips, which can be chewed quickly and offer no benefits for dental hygiene. The recommended feeding is one chew per day, but it's okay to feed four times a week, and each treat is variable in size, with some square and some rectangular shaped. While the chewable has worked wonders for some customers, others found it to be a choking hazard, mainly when unattended. Many buyers were also displeased with the deceptive packaging, stating that the package states approximately 30 chews but only includes around 19 pieces. Some other customers believe that the treats are beneficial for dental hygiene, while some see no changes in their dog's teeth after using them.
