This HMTECH 7 Inch Raspberry Pi Screen Monitor is a reliable and valuable product. It is easy to use and works flawlessly with a Raspberry Pi as long as the video output is properly configured. The size and picture quality are great for using as a secondary touch display, for CCTV, or other diagnostic purposes. However, it is not suitable for gaming applications. The monitor is a great value for money and can be run off USB 2.0 power. It is also versatile enough to be used with an Android TV box or Xbox as long as they have a standard HDMI port. The biggest issue with this monitor is that it is not enclosed, and the exposed components on the back may pose an electrocution risk or make the monitor too susceptible to damage. The monitor also does not sit securely into the base of the included stand. Overall, this monitor is a suitable purchase for those in need of a portable and reliable screen without breaking the bank.
