  • Question : Do this work with rubber coated strips?
    Answer : For rubber coated strips, you need to peel off the rubber at the end before inserting the strip into the connectors.
  • Question : Why is there issues with the 10mm connectors not working with some 10mm items/products? do you have to use model #5050 or 5630 items only?
    Answer : These connectors will only work with the 60 LED per meter strips, not the 120 LED per meter strips.
  • Question : I need to connect LED strips that have no plastic clips on the ends. How come these don't come with both clips?
    Answer : These connectors allow you to wire strips together that are not near each other. You attach one lead to each strip and splice wire in between.
  • Question : This connector specifies single color LED use. Are the red:blue grow lights considered single color and will these connectors work with them?
    Answer : This LED strip connector is for a string of LED lights that have only 2 wires going the full length of the light strip. It will not work if the light strip has 3 or more wires.
  • Question : Does this work for waterproof 3528 24w single color warm white LED strip?
    Answer : No, this LED light connector is suitable for 10mm wide single color LED strip lights, but not suitable for 3528 strip lights.
  • Question : Ever had these things heat up and burn through the conductor on the LED strip? I've had 2 melt so far. What causes this?
    Answer : This could be caused by too many LED elements connected, drawing too much current and overheating them.
  • Question : I need connectors that are about 16” long. How can I make these longer without soldering?
    Answer : You can use wire connectors that clip over both wires and connect them. You will also need to buy extra wire.
  • Question : What gauge are the wires on the pigtail?
    Answer : The wire gauge on the strip-to-strip connectors is 22AWG. The gauge on the strip-to-wire (pigtail) connector is unknown, but it is suspected to also be 22AWG.
