It gets hard as steel and can be drilled, tapped, machined, ground, filed and painted once it sets. It is impact-resistant and can withstand temperatures up to 300ºF. However, it is not suitable for all applications. It cannot be used on glass and may not work well on certain plastics, such as those made with polypropylene. It is also not recommended for filling in dents on metal doors or for repairing anything that is forged or under stress, such as an outboard flywheel.
