The farther the better so it doesn't look like you are reading, but I would say 4 or 5 ft min.

Hello. Is this compatible with a Sony alpha 6000 camera? It’s a 40.5mm lens.

New updates may have changed the Ring Adapter kit. I thought I had to purchase a step-up (46mm) based on descriptions I've read but the kit I received has a 37mm, 40.5mm, 43mm, 46mm as well.

I cannot mount on my sony a6000 lens! there is no right adapter! what should i do?

This particular camera sometimes has a smaller filter thread such as a 40.5. This requires a step up adapter sold separately. You can find them on our website, or local photography store. I would recommend something like 40.5mm to 58mm step up adapter.

Will this work with a canon eos m50?

It comes with many different sized mounting rings to mount different lenses to the TelePrompTer. So it should work.

I need a mounting ring for 50mm lens. this doesn't come with that size ring and i don't see it available on the website. am i still able to use this?
