  • Question : Are these sensor covers suitable for showering?
    Answer : Yes, these sensor covers are waterproof, making them suitable for showering, exercising, and other activities.
  • Question : Do these sensor covers come in different shapes?
    Answer : These sensor covers are round in shape, but they are designed to fit Libre 2 and 3 sensors.
  • Question : Are these sensor covers gentle on the skin?
    Answer : Yes, these sensor covers are hypoallergenic and latex-free, making them gentle, safe, and non-irritating for use on the skin.
  • Question : Please, someone, tell me the purpose of this patch. All I read about how well/bad it sticks to the skin. Is it a monitor for blood/sugar?
    Answer : It covers the sensor (Freestyle Libre, and others) which does measure blood sugar constantly.The patch holds the sensor in place and does not in any way affect its operation.
  • Question : Is there a waterproof cover suitable for 30/45 mins in a hot tub which an be reused.?
    Answer : You may not want to submerge your sensor that long in water that hot. If you know you are going in hot tub install sensor on upper back part of arm and keep your arm out most of the time.
  • Question : Is there adhesive on the "circle" that fits over the Libre sensor? If so, how does one remove this patch (if needed) without pulling out the sensor?
    Answer : If you might have to remove the patch, before the sensor's expiry date, just be careful with removing. Have used the patches with a hole cut for the sensor, but it's extremely difficult to get just the adhesive part of the patch to cover the small tape portion of the sensor.
  • Question : Are these patches made with Latex?
    Answer : These patches are Latex free.
  • Question : Sensors last 14 days, patches only 7-10 days. WHY is that?!?!
    Answer : Suggestion is to try just the sensor without the patch for the first 7 or 8 days or so; when you see the adhesive "weakening" a bit, apply the patch for the last 10-12 days to cover and protect the sensor.
  • Question : Are there any clear adhesives for Omnipod?
    Answer : Unfortunately, they haven't released this product yet. In the meantime, there are clear ones specifically designed for the Omnipod in the marketplace.
  • Question : How long dies it stay on before becoming frayed or gross?
    Answer : I typically use a patch late in the two-week period of sensor "life," and they stay on pretty well. If you don't use one until you need one, I think you're good to go!
  • Question : What is the diameter of the opening (in inches)? What is the diameter of the entire patch, outer edge to outer edge?
    Answer : The diameter of the opening (with no adhesive) is 1 1/8" diameter. The overall diameter of the patch is 2 7/8,"

The Flexd - Libre Adhesive Patches 25-Pack offers protection for the sensor which measures blood sugar Constantly. The patches hold the sensor in place and do not affect its operation or readings. Customers have found that the patches stick well, last as long as the sensor, and stay on despite showering/swimming. However, some people have experienced irritation or difficulty in removing the patch. The patches are not suitable for use for extended periods in hot tubs. One user had a problem where the reader could no longer read the sensor with the patch, which required cutting out a hole in the middle or using a second patch. Some customer reviews were critical of the waterproofing ability of the patches.
