Question : What do I need to connect the cold water only?
Answer : For cold water connection only, there is a blue plug on the hot water inlet. Leave the blue plug in the connector and install the provided cap with the teflon tape to prevent any possible leaks.
Question : Where is this made?
Answer : The bidet attachment is made in China.
Question : Do we need to remove the blue part where the hot water connects to the mixing valve?
Answer : No, the kit comes with everything needed. All hoses should be hooked up. The blue part should remain in place and the cap should be installed on the connector. Use teflon tape on the fitting for the cap to prevent leaks.
Question : After installing this, will the tank be filled with warm water as well?
Answer : When there is no water in the tank, warm water may enter if the mixing valve is not closed. However, once the tank is full, warm water will not continue to flow into it. To avoid warm water flowing into the tank, simply turn off the mixer valve after using the bidet attachment. Warm water flowing into the tank will not cause any damage as it is not hot and the flow is warm.
