Answer : It clearly states 0.32" thick when collapsed in the specifications. Just read the item description.
Question : Is it possible to remove them from the glass without having the glass damaged?
Answer : Yes it is just a strong tape that holds them in place. Use a razor blade to lift the edge up. use rubbing alcohol to clean any leftover residue.
Question : How to remove the Burglabar from a glass door or window?
Answer : The best way to remove the BurglaBar from a glass door or window is with the help of a cotton ball or cue tip soaked in acetone (nail-polish remover). It can also be removed by using a hair dryer to melt the glue that is used to stick it on the windows.
Question : Are these easy to remove?
Answer : No. They are hard to remove and even then you have to get the glue off with gasoline or something similar.
Question : Can this be used with a pet door installed in the opening of the sliding door?
Answer : Could answer better if I saw a picture of your sliding door and pet door.
Question : Will this stick to textured glass? I’d like to use it on sliding shower doors.
Answer : If it is very fine it should. You can buy the set and try one following the instructions and giving it a couple of days to stick. If it does not work then the seller will mail you a replacement.
Question : How can we remove it?
Answer : Once you remove it you will not be able to use it again. You can use nail polish remover with a cotton ear swab wetting the back or even a hair dryer to melt the glue.
Question : I want my sliding window to not open further than 16”. Can I use this like that?
Answer : You can stick it anywhere you want too, to allow or not allow it being open. If it is 16 inches away this will allow enough force to break it if slide hard enough.
Question : Does anyone know if these will fit in between Pella Sliding Doors?
Answer : This product did FIT our sliding door; it broke and after a month, we’re still trying to get the glued piece of plastic off the glass. The seller does not recommend this product.
