- Question : What type bird food os best for this feeder?Answer : Not regular bird feed, after purchasing this feeder it sat a while because no seeds would fit, suet was too messy to insert, so i saw a bag of sunflower seeds for 50 cents and they worked.
- Question : The attached metal loop won’t fit over my tree branches. Is there a separate sturdy attachment to keep this from falling off the tree?Answer : A screw in hook to the branch you choose or a small rope around the branch with a hook on the end.
- Question : Will niger seeds stay in this feeder?Answer : I put Niger seeds in mine. The trick is to use a thick piece of paper, foil or plastic wrap around the cage first.
- Question : Are there nectar guards that fit this feeder?Answer : NOT THAT I AM AWARE.

- Question : I bought a feeder and when I fill it and connect the bottom part and sit upright all the fluid leaks out of the 3 openings anyone have this problem?Answer : No. When I turn mine upright to hang, no liquid comes out.
- Question : Where is the built in moat?Answer : There is no moat as far as I can see, unless it’s built into the inside of the base.
- Question : What do you use to hang this?Answer : It comes with it's own hanger which is plastic over steel with a loop on the top to hang on a hook. It works well.

The Twinkle Star Wild Bird Feeder is a hanging feeder that is shaped like a lighthouse and comes in a copper red color. It is meant for decoration as well as for feeding birds. However, based on customer feedback, there are some design flaws and quality issues to be aware of when purchasing this product. The feeder is made of plastic, not copper metal as advertised, and is not as durable as some customers had hoped. There are also issues with the lid mechanism making it difficult to fill the feeder. On the positive side, birds do use the feeder and some customers find it attractive. However, if you have squirrels in your area, they may damage the feeder quickly. Overall, it is a mixed bag in terms of quality and design.
