The Squirrel Buster Classic Squirrel-proof Bird Feeder with 4 Feeding Ports and 2.4 lbs seed capacity is effective in deterring squirrels while accommodating different bird species. The spring weight isn't adjustable, but weight can be added to deter grackles completely. Blocking the closed section of mesh with tape prevents grackles from eating even when the feeder closes, but they can eat out of other feeders. The bird feeder should be cleaned every 3-4 weeks in a 1/10 bleach solution. Replacement parts are available from the manufacturer. The feeder can be hung from a pole or with a short hook but still stays squirrel-proof. The feeder has 4 feeding ports, and even larger birds can access seeds despite their size.
