How well do these hold up to use? Our little wants to light saber fight with dad, and a cheap pair we had before didn’t hold up super well.

My boys fight with them and we had one stop making noise from it but we’ve never had one crack or break, it still lit up as well just didn’t make noise.

Are there various versions of this toy? Mine did not have a place to put batteries.

Can it hang from a belt hook?

Yes, there is a hole where it can be attached with an O ring clip or tether.
