  • Question : When you open the spa, does the spa cover rest on the ground? I don't see chains or braces to keep this from happening.
    Answer : Yes it does. I have to say it works really well.
  • Question : Product description says that there are heavy-duty springs to assist taking the spa cover off. Where are they? I don't see them anywhere!
    Answer : Located on the bottom of the unit on each side.
  • Question : Is width adjustable?
    Answer : Yes you can adjust it, as long as you have room to bolt it down.
  • Question : Can I buy just the undermount brackets?
    Answer : I did not see that anywhere as an option, maybe look at ocean blue site. But for the price, you can just use the tubes. It does come with one tube attached about 3 ft long but you possibly could take off bolt and add yours but you would have to reload the big spring.
  • Question : How much clearance do you need behind the spa? It looks like as the cover goes down the angle requires a lot of clearance?
    Answer : A little less than 2'. Gotta say I didn't think this would work at all but it actually does. Kids and wife can get it off and put back on very easily. If you are thinking its gonna be a POS and won't work like I did, you are gonna be surprised.
  • Question : Will this cover work on a round hot tub?
    Answer : Only if the round tub is smaller than the width. But is NOT the correct cover, It will work but not correctly.
