The Awe Aero Bars are cheap, lightweight and easy to install. The bars are suitable for 31.8mm of Handlebar Diameter and do not require griptape. The bars are comfortable and provide a good aerodynamic posture for the rider. However, installation can be difficult, and the screws provided tighten into anchors that can easily fall out of their housing. Therefore, some customers recommend wrapping handlebars with grip tape or electrical tape to provide extra friction. Also, there are some issues with installation, specifically having to invert the bike and balance it on the saddle to lean against a wall, as the bars can be difficult to install, and the screws can slip forwards or backward without sufficient friction.
