The ice maker will continue to make ice until the bin is full or you run out of water. If the ice is not used it will melt with time and the melted water is then cycled back through to make delicious chewable ice. It is a great addition to any kitchen, game room or home bar.   • Question : For those who leave this machine running 24/7, how much electricity does it consume? Is it comparable to a regular refrigerator?
    Answer : Kind of pointless to leave running. I have mine on the timer function through the app and it comes on and off throughout the day and I always have a bin of ice. Uses very little electricity when running I assume.
  • Question : Does this item come with a filter ? Just curious why I see a filter listed for $19 , is that an upgraded filter or an replacement filter ?
