I bought 2 sets with the idea of being able to roll the treadmill around on them easier than directly on the carpet. They fell apart immediately when I tried to move the treadmill on them. They didn't work at all!
- Question : Is it good for noise reduction also ? I live in 5th floor with wooden flooring? Has anyone use in such environment?Answer : My son uses this mat under his treadmill to reduce noise since he's on the top floor with hardwood floors.
- Question : I want to protect my carpet by placing these under a home gym with a 150 weight stack? Will these work satisfactorily?Answer : Yes. I use mine under my treadmill and use it regularly. My carpet doesn't even have indentations from the weight above it.
- Question : Will these mats stain or discolor light carpeting? Our carpet is a beige.Answer : I don't believe that it will. But we have ours on hardwoods, so I can't answer for sure. Sorry.
- Question : Can these be used in Marine environments without absorbing water over time?Answer : I’m not too sure, but I think they would work. However, they will still get water in between where the connect.
