The Simple Joys by Carter's Girls' 3-Pack Cotton Sleeper Gown is a good quality product that is suitable for winter. The elastic at the bottom makes changing diapers easy, and the gowns generally cover newborns' feet. However, the mittens may not be usable due to the small arm length. The preemie and newborn sizes have fold-over cuffs to contain babies' hands, but the 0-3 month size does not. The gowns are made in Cambodia and are lightweight, similar to a t-shirt weight, so they would not keep the baby warm nor swaddled. Therefore, a blanket or sleep sack will be required.
