- Question : What is the cost of ink bottles and their page yield?Answer : Ink bottles are very affordable and they provide up to 7,500 pages of black and 6,000 pages of color print.

- Question : Anyone else having issues connecting the printer to their laptop?Answer : Be sure your laptop is pointing to the same SSID as the printer. For instance, my printer would not print from my PC. I discovered my printer was pointing to SSID xxx2.5 while the PC was pointing to xxx5.0. Works fine now. BTW, takes a bit of time from sending printing request till the printer actually starts printing.
- Question : Can you print on 80 lb card stock?Answer : I had some 110 lb card stock and tried printing on it. One sided printing worked, however 2 sided printing did not work.
- Question : Does anyone else have a problem with the printer pulling on one side and making it crooked?Answer : Yes..!!! About every other page. Then the white plastic roller that pulls the paper thru fell out after 3 hours after it delivered to my house. Was scanning 2 pages, 2nd page went sideways and jammed. I opened top as instructed and the white gear roller fell out. Cheaply made.
- Question : Is it necessary to use wifi or can one just connect with a standard printer cable? I prefer the latter. Thanks.Answer : You can connect with a USB cable. However, the cable is not supplied with the printer.
- Question : Can this printer accommodate 9x12 size paper?Answer : Yes it can. The paper guides in the back (at the top where the paper feeds into the printer) are adjustable and can fit 9x12 inch paper.

- Question : Wanting a printer with great quality for intricate vinyl stickers-- will this work with any kind of paper from vinyl to cardstock to normal?Answer : I think it would but have only used 3 papers. Cheap paper, heavier stock luster, and photo. I like this printer but it doesn’t have a feeder, so it’s open cover place paper and repeat. If this is important I would get the next unit up it the same but comes with a feeder slot.

The Epson EcoTank ET-2850 is an all-in-one cartridge-free supertank printer that offers wireless color printing, scanning, copying, and auto 2-sided printing. While the setup can be a challenge, the massive ink bottles allow users to save time and money on cartridge replacements. Printing on cardstock and adjusting the paper guides in the back is possible, but the printer can't print edge-to-edge. Overall, the printer scanning function works perfectly via the Vuescan app, and most users are satisfied with the print quality. However, some customers experienced issues with the printer pulling on one side and producing crooked prints, and others had problems with ink flow, which includes having to do a power clean and using up all the ink, and the "stopped-filter failed" error message every 2-3 days. The highlight is the relatively low ink cost and the absence of cartridges.
