    Answer : The lock can be installed on most standard doors with a phillips screwdriver and does not require any extra drills.
  • Question : Is an internet connection necessary to generate passcodes?
    Answer : No, the smart lock can generate passcodes remotely without an internet connection.
  • Question : Do I need to purchase the optional WiFi gateway to use the lock?
    Answer : While the lock can be used without the WiFi gateway, the gateway allows for remote control and access to the lock from anywhere.
  • Question : Are the physical keys the same for all products? Would anyone that bought this lock be able to open another’s lock with the physical key?
    Answer : The physical keys are unique to each lock. Keys from one lock would not be able to open a different lock.
  • Question : If there’s an unexpected visitor, and i need to let them in… can i give them a one time code? and can it be used on just wi-fi for this?
    Answer : If you program the code ahead of time, yes.
  • Question : Can you control lock from another country for an Airbnb?
    Answer : This lock can be controlled from a different country. The Sifely Gateway (separate product) needs to be installed near the lock to be able to control this lock remotely.
  • Question : Anyone else have an issue where the mechanism is stuck in locked position and and will not unlock?
    Answer : Luckily I haven’t come across this problem yet.

    Answer : We currently do not have any locks for sliding glass doors yet.

    Answer : Sure, if the criminal is already in the house. The battery box is on the inside part of the lock. There is no access to screws from the outside.
  • Question : what is the diameter of existing door hole that is required?
    Answer : The required bore hole diameter is 2 1/8 in.
  • Question : Does this work on a door with an interior push bar?
    Answer : The lock replaces the complete lock assemble and has a "normal" hand pull on the inside.
  • Question : Which app do I download?
    Answer : To use this lock, you will need the "Sifely Smart Lock" app.
  • Question : If something happens, will i be able to get home?
    Answer : The lock includes physical keys that allow you to open the door like a regular door using a lock and key.

The Sifely Smart Deadbolt is a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for smart locks. It is easy to install, accessed keys can be easily tracked, and supports up to 200 admins, 200 fobs, and multiple access codes. It supports remote access and control, which is made possible with the installation of the separate Sifely Gateway. However, the lock currently allows for code setting to the hour only. The lock has a 2 1/8-inch borehole fitting, easy to install, and works on both main and bedroom doors. Despite its excellent functionality, there have been complaints of challenges during the setup process and a few malfunctioning fingerprint readers. The housing for the lock’s cord could be positioned better to avoid it interfering with the latch. Buyers switch between the deadbolt and handle because they cannot be installed with ease. Overall, the Sifely Smart Deadbolt has a considerable advantage in its easy accessibility of the property, remote access, and keyless entry. Its unique features such as integration with remote control systems and easy administration, make it one of the best smart locks available in the market.
