  • Question : How long due the bulbs last , and how wil i know to change it?
    Answer : Make sure to have a meter to test your bulb even once you put one in new. I just ordered this putting it in and when testing to see how high my basking spot should be it red only 2 at 2”s away from the bulb. I should be getting a 6 or 7 at 9” away. So I received ither a used or faulty bulb. Remember just because it produces light doesn’t mean it is giving off uvb

    Answer : 9 inches is fine for ontop of the screen. A reptisun 10.0 t5 should be 8 to 10 inches if ontop of a screen and 12 to 14 if inside the enclosure. As for whoever was saying distance is fine monitor temp, this isn't a heat light it's a uv light, even half an inch away it's not hot lo
