The unit does not contain a backlit clock but does have a hot plate feature to keep coffee warm after brewing. The water tank is well designed for easy cleaning. This coffee maker is able to use RO filtered water without the filtration disk accessory. It is compatible with any 12-cup standard size coffee filters. Many customers have had positive experiences with this coffee maker, with some stating it is the best they have ever had and mentioning that it is good at getting the last drip of flavor from the ground coffee. However, there have been a few negative experiences, with some customers experiencing leaks or problems with the coffee maker after a short period of time.
