- Question : Has anyone noticed a buzzing sound when the kettle heats? It happens close to when the water boils about 3/4 way through the heating cycle?Answer : Hi Just got this kettle a day ago and does the same thing , buzzes sound for 5 seconds if that, I figured it out !!! The tube on the inside of kettle goes all the way to top under the lip of where lid goes , the space between tube and sides of kettle are so close that the tubes vibrates sides and makes this noise. Solution is to place silicone between sides and tube and problem is gone !!!! You can use anything as long as it can take the heat from the kettle water, I used a silicone band and wrapped around the tube.
