This ARB awning can be permanently mounted to a vehicle or mounted to a shed, cargo roof rack, or roof rails. Installation requires some figuring out and use of tools, but it is relatively simple, faster with a second person, and the materials are of good quality. It is light-weight and sturdy when properly guyed down and seems to be durable, but the legs may not have a locking mechanism to hold them well in place. Some customers had difficulty assembling it or experienced issues with tie-down ropes. For the price, it is a great value and worked beyond some customers' expectations. However, some customers found the parts to be cheap and had difficulty getting replacement parts.
