There is plenty of room to use this bar comfortably, suitably designed for Olympic plates. One reviewer did find a bent side plate upon assembly, but they were able to straighten it and get it to work. Another reviewer found that this bar didn't fit their Rogue Olympic Competition Bumper Plates or Promaxima Bumper plates. However, the reviewer admits to missing the return date, so they haven't fixed that problem yet. There seems to be one small design error with the holes for self-locking screws. A buyer purchased a set of lock collars to go with it, and the weight plates stayed in place rep after rep. The reviewer emphasized that the hex bar is made well and is worth the extra expense.
