The 4" Pop UP Emitter is an in-ground installation that makes rainwater removal efficient. It is designed to be installed underground and capture runoff water from gutter downspouts or area drains. This emitter works well in preventing debris from entering the drain pipe and eliminates the risk of a stream of water causing any further problems. It has a green top that camouflages well and is hardly visible on the lawn. Installation process is straightforward but it can take a while to locate the best position and to dig the trench. The emitter can freeze up in cold weather climates, but this can be resolved by taking the necessary precautions as recommended by a reviewer. The product can easily connect to a 4" drainage pipe and is suitable for installations that have enough fall. The emitter has an element on the bottom that allows stagnant water to be removed. The quality of the NDS emitter is high and offers some savings overall. While drilling small holes and securely screwing the top is recommended, the product works as designed and is good value for money.
