While you are playing and if you turn on the effect there is no signal cut. This is probably the best wah pedal I have used in a long time. You will thoroughly enjoy it.

Will I also be able to use it as an expression pedal only with my Wahfull?

I don't know what a wahfull is, but the xotic wah is a conventional wah pedal -- instrument signal only, cannot be used as an expression pedal for anything.

Anybody try it on a bass?

Sorry, only on guitar but it works great for that.

Does it come with an AC adapter? If not, which one should I use with the xotic wah xw-1?

Mine did not come with a power supply. I would suggest checking Xotic's website to confirm which power supply to use.

Has anyone played a bass through it since the question was asked a year ago.

I did, alone, and just for grins, through a Deluxe Big Muff. By itself it was just OK, but it was pretty cool with the DBM. I had the high end dialed up pretty high.

Can I use it with my Bass guitar?

Xotic XW-1 Wah & Filter Editorial Review

The Xotic XW-1 Wah pedal is True Bypass and allows for transparent true bypass tone. The pedal takes a 9 volt power supply and cannot be used passively. It is not an expression pedal and only takes instrument input. It is great for guitar use but a video was found of it being used on bass guitar. The pedal has received very positive reviews for its sound quality, build, and small footprint. The ability to fine-tune the pedal's bias is greatly appreciated. The only downside is a brief moment of silence when the pedal is activated, which bothers some users. It is on the expensive side, however, it is seen as the last wah pedal one might need to buy. While some customers experienced defective pedals, they did not detract from the pedal's overall appeal.
