The SVS 3000 Micro Subwoofer is ideal for small untreated rooms, due to its 3-pole parametric EQ that cancels out resonant frequencies. The Sound quality improvements you get from this feature will dominate any "incremental gains" you get from from things like more power, deeper bass extension, or flatter frequency response. The micro subwoofer can be put anywhere and still produce clean sound. Although the ON/OFF button is at the back and there is no indicator on front to know whether the sub is on or off it is still an excellent purchase. The subwoofer produces significant bass output despite its small size.
