Coast Headlamps Editorial Review

The Coast FL85R headlamp has received mixed reviews from customers. Some praise the product for being well built, lightweight and having multiple brightness levels, as well as the ability to charge it directly with USB-C. In contrast, other customers have found the plastic adjustable piece on the strap to be fragile and have experienced it breaking after regular use. A few customers also found the headlamp to be less bright and its beam less centralized than advertised, while another noted that the headlamp turns on easily in their pocket or backpack. Despite these downsides, the rechargeable battery is a plus for many, especially when compared to headlamps that use standard batteries, and the headlamp comes with numerous accessories like hard hat/helmet clips, a charging cord and instructions.
