It is a great game for team-building and family game nights. The game's playtime is quick and easy, which is great for in-between games. Although the app and the card game are different experiences, the card game is sillier and great for flinging cards around with friends, but it is not a replacement for the app. Spaceteam is appropriate for a fifth-grade classroom age group, and expansion sets can be bought to play with more than the recommended number of cards in order to accommodate twelve people. However, it gets pretty hectic with that many people. While the game is suitable for non-native English speakers, some may find the made-up nonsense words harder to pronounce, and communication between players is involved. The game can be very loud, so it's not a great game for a game room/bar/restaurant. Unfortunately, simultaneous games cannot be played with a single copy of the game. Overall, Spaceteam is a great game for fast-paced, team-building fun with friends and family.
