- MUST HAVE FEATURES: The 14 cup food processor has an “on” and “off/pulse” buttons with a Lexan bowl, extra large feed tube with small and large pusher bowl sleeve assembly. Also a detachable disc stem for easy use and clean up. Cord length is 36-inches

- Question : Is this model the same as or different from cuisinart dfp-14bcn (no y at end of the model number)?Answer : DFP-14BCNY does not have the recalled riveted blades. This is the 'good' model to get as of the recall notice that came out today 12/16/2016
- Question : Is anyone else ready to rant about the safety feature getting all gross with food?Answer : We love this food processor but can't stand to wash it. Everything gets stuck in the top and in the mechanism for the top. We can't figure out how it gets in there in the first place. We have wanted to replace the bowl and top but Cuisinart is out of stock.
- Question : How thin does cabbage come?Answer : Has anyone used the 2mm blade (sold separately) to slice cabbage for coleslaw? Not sure if the included 4mm slicing blade is the only size I'll need.

- Question : Could someone talk about what it's like to clean this after use?Answer : What I find difficult is the little cylinder of the main 14 cup container. I find the best way is to take every piece individually and really look it over.
- Question : Will the dfp-14bcny base, bowl, and blade stem fit my old dlc-7 blades?Answer : I ordered the base, bowl, and blade stem a couple of years ago. Well, they came but my old pusher didn’t fit. Where can I get just the pusher to fit the DFP 14WBCT1-14?
- Question : Is the bowl BPA free?Answer : All parts that come in contact with food are BPA free, even though it is not marked on the bowl.
- Question : Will my discs and attachments from my older Cuisinart Custom 14 fit this machine?Answer : My old discs and blades all work fine in the new one.
- Question : Have you made cauliflower rice with this? Will it make a puree?Answer : Using the Pulse will enable you to control how fine your rice will become. It's always a good idea not to pack the bowl too full. Pulse in a couple of batches instead of all at once.

The Cuisinart DFP-14BCNY 14-cup Food Processor appears to be popular with customers. There is much discussion over whether or not this model is part of a recall (it is not), however, the machine's efficiency in processing all types of food seems to satisfy most buyers. A common concern is cleaning the processor after use, but customers overall have found it relatively easy to clean. Additionally, the machine is quite large and heavy, which some people find cumbersome, but complainants were few. Complaints of product failure or breakage are also rare.
