    Answer : I would be careful. Technivorm uses a copper heating element, so make sure this descaler is safe for copper.
  • Question : What is in this?
    Answer : According to the MSDS, it contains 7-10% citric acid and 3-7% sulfamic acid, with the rest being water.
  • Question : Does it go into the water reservoir? How do I use it?
    Answer : Yes, you should mix one bottle with fresh water up to the fill line in your reservoir and run it through your coffee maker like you were making coffee. Then repeat the process with fresh water. Repeat this procedure once more for a clean machine.
  • Question : Keurig K910 does not light go off descaler, what should I do?
    Answer : Dump the water in the reservoir, wash the reservoir with dish soap and warm water, rinse well, add half bottle of descaler and hot tap water, run the brewing cycle until the add water light comes on, and then run 3 full reservoirs of warm water to rinse out the system.
  • Question : What are the directions?
    Answer : Pour through 4X as much water, only use half of what they send per instructions, and make sure all of the descaler is rinsed out.
  • Question : Has anyone tried to use this to remove fog or deposits inside glass vases?
    Answer : Yes, it has been tried and works very well.
  • Question : How can it be two uses per bottle if you are supposed to use half the bottle twice each time?
    Answer : The directions suggest using half a bottle in the reservoir and adding water to fill it. Then, after emptying the full reservoir, you use two full reservoirs of plain water before using the descaler again in future descaling.
  • Question : Can I use this on a Farberware electric percolator?
    Answer : The bottle states that it is compatible with Keurig, Nespresso, Tassimo, and all types of coffee & espresso machines. It should work on a Farberware electric percolator as well.
  • Question : Isn't vinegar cheaper to use?
    Answer : Vinegar may be cheaper, but it is not as effective for cleaning.
