The AeroPress coffee maker is a plastic device made in California that uses paper micro-filters to yield a premium black coffee with an espresso shot. Although it comes with 350 filters, many people prefer the taste of coffee filtered through a metal filter. The AeroPress needs fresh beans, a good stir, less boiling water temperature, and a newfound learning curve to produce excellent results, but it easy to use and clean. The product is durable enough to travel with you, and it is more economical than making to much coffee that you don't need; however, there is no bag included. You can rinse and reuse filters up to 20 times. Nonetheless, the consistency of the product is not always reliable seeing that the outer layer can break while in transit. Customers have praised how it is easy to prepare, has excellent value and taste, and generates less waste. Nevertheless, some reviewers believed that the AeroPress was overhyped and had an excessive amount of steps that needed to be done to brew the coffee, compared to an automatic drip brewer or similar machines.
