Answer : Mine arrived locked too, I tried everything to open. Eventually after starting at 000, 629 tries at the combination later it finally popped open. That took about 25 minutes. Good luck!
Question : What is the empty case weight?
Answer : The 28” is advertised as 9.5lbs. Mine just arrived and it weighs 10.1lbs on my luggage scale.

Answer : Only issue with suitcase was no instructions on setting combo. BUT called Samsonite and were so helpful. Use a pen tip to push in the lil divot inbetween dials and lock. Reset. Push lock to the combo and pop, unlocked

Answer : The 28" does not comply with the 62 rule. The distance includes wheels and handles.

Answer : Not at all. We actually travelled a few days ago with this suitcase checked-in and we had no issues with extra fees.

Answer : The outer dimensions including the wheels are an inch more, 46 inches - 22.5 x 14.5 x 9 (unexpanded).
