The Black & Decker CM1160B is a programmable 12-cup coffee maker with a range of features not found in similar coffee makers. The model turns off automatically after an hour and comes with its programmable feature. There is no need to set the timer; it can operate in a fully manual off-and-on mode. The coffee maker's optimal holding temperature ranges from 175°F to 185°F. The coffee pot will work with either a paper or a permanent mesh basket-style filter. Feedback from customer reviews indicates that the coffee maker isn't as durable as high-end coffee makers. However, it brewed good quality coffee when it worked. The cord is 24" in length, and users have reported that the programmable function is just about easy to use. But the light on the coffee maker is not easy to see in dim lighting.
