Would this be good played two player adults?

If you were playing only 2 players then there would be better games to try. However, if you were going to be playing in a group with the occasional 2 players then it would. We took it on holiday and played it as a 2 and it was more tactical as you would see the cards multiple times.

What sleeves size can I use to protect the cards with? I cant find any size info for the cards in the game

I bought the 'mayday games standard USA game size sleeves' (size 56mm x 87mm). These are super super tight! The cards were a little bit bend inside the sleeve, but with time it works perfect, especially if you take into account that the cards will fit in the pockets of the box.

What are the differences between this and sushi go? a board and more cards or other things too? which is best? thanks

Fewer cards than the original. Smaller board too. If you intend to play it with lots of friends, don't get this.

Does it have French instructions?

I don't think so. It is not complicated, so it would easily translate.
