Can I use these for a swing from a tree branch?

Yes you can but you must search for a brace for a swing for tree branch. You have to have the correct brace at top that holds the swing.

How long is the chain?

The yellow coated part is 30” (what the picture says in the ad), and the uncoated part is 36”. So 66” altogether.

Why does it say put away to protect from sun or moisture? isn't this an outdoor swing?

All rubber and plastic products get excessive wear in extreme cold or heat. Swings etc should be put away I cold winter month.

I do not know and the swings do not say. Sorry. They are very good swings though. Mine are almost over 2 yrs old and still look new.

Does it have connectors hangers to the beam?

No they do not. These will use the old hangers I have.

Is this just the seats or the chain also??

Seats and chain. They're great!

How far apart do the chains need to be? Setting this up on a new swing set and want to be sure it is right.

I put mine shoulder with apart so when I swing with the kids I can fit in it comfortably.

Do they turn black after awhile like the Little tykes ones?

These are high quality and durable. I've had them 6 months now and no disclorations, or other problems at all.

These swing seats come with a yellow-coated 30-inch chain and an uncoated 36-inch chain, making for a total length of 66 inches. The product is designed for outdoor use but it is advisable to protect it from extreme cold or heat. The swings do not come with hanger connectors and will rely on the hangers available. The chains need to be installed shoulder-width apart for a comfortable swinging experience. The product worked well for some customers, as the swings were easy to install and were sturdy enough for regular use by children. The hardware was heavy-duty and reliable, while the swings also came at a great price. Others encountered issues with the product. There were complaints about the swing breaking twice for one customer, which could have resulted in serious injuries.
